The people behind a life's work
Why Freyr exists, and why planning for Inheritance Tax earlier matters now.
"Most of this industry starts with products. We start with what the money represents: a lifetime of decisions, not a line on a portfolio.
People shouldn't have to choose between enjoying what they've built and helping it reach the people they love. The Freyr Estate Planning Service is designed to remove that compromise. It aims to qualify for Business Relief, so after two years it could fall outside their estate for Inheritance Tax, while their money stays invested and accessible."
The Team
Leads Freyr, drawing on ten years in estate planning at Octopus and eleven years before that at UBS and Deutsche Bank. Nick has built teams to support financial advisers and created new businesses across the UK and Australia. Ask Nick why Freyr exists, what we're doing differently and our plans for the future. Father of three and a Spurs and Saracens supporter, he loves following teams that used to be good. There's always next season!
